ETAT PUR MICELLAR CLEANSING WATER REVIEW
Etat Pur Micellar Cleansing Water - £6.40 - http://www.etatpur.co.uk/
I'm
sure we've all heard of the famous Bioderma, a product which, arguably,
may have fueled the blogging craze for cleansing waters. With it being
quite hard to get hold of if you can't take a trip to Paris, I decided
to pick up the Etat Pur Micellar Cleansing Water. With rumours that they
are part of the same company as Bioderma, I had high hopes that this
would become a product I could never live without.
This
is a very simple product; everything from the packaging to the price to
the way you use it is fuss-free. This has the consistency of water but,
unlike Bioderma, which i've read is odourless, it has a pleasant but
certainly prevalent smell. In case you haven't heard of cleansing
waters, you use them by wiping the liquid over the skin with a cotton
pad. It requires no rinsing which is what initially attracted me to the
product- i'm very lazy when it comes to skincare!
It
feels like water on the skin, leaving no residue or greasiness behind.
However, I really have to use a lot of product to remove my makeup
completely, often soaking two large cotton pads to do my entire face.
However, it does work excellently as an eye makeup remover. Although
this will never completely replace some of my face washes and cleansers,
it is something i'd repurchase.
I
can't say i've tried this product exclusively enough to comment on the
longer-term effects on my skin, but it certainly hasn't caused me to
break out.
I
reach for this product on a regular basis, especially throughout summer
when my makeup was light/ I wasn't wearing any makeup. It does leave
you skin feeling incredibly fresh and, although not an essential, it is
something I enjoy having in my routine. I can certainly see myself
trying more from the brand in future as this was extremely affordable
and is a lovely product to use.
